When you even mention blush, the most of
the women will wave their hands and tell that to them blush isn’t necessary.
According to one famous magazine, about 47% of European women, nowadays, are
wearing blush in comparison to 1948, when 66%of women who wore it; pretty
amazing data, don’t you think the same? But, if you ask me for opinion the
blush might be our beauty secret weapon (in order to cover up all that tiny
pores, fine lines and freckles), of course, if you don’t overdo it with the
application of the tone of the blushes :-). Besides, you will reminisce on some
sort of a clown (admittedly, not the funny one :-P), your facial skin won’t be
able to breathe under these thick layers, so in time, that will lead on the
appearance of ugly and festering pimples. In order to prevent this from
happening, let’s learn some basics related to the proper applying your blush,
in order to use it as a secret beauty tool.
You
should follow these steps:
ü Firstly,
You Should Choose Your Blush Type;
Tips:
pretty suitable for a bit oily skin complexion are the gel or a powder (pearl)
blush; however, if you have a normal or dry skin complexion, you should opt for
the cream. Regardless of a type you opt for, it is of a crucial importance that
its shade should match your natural face coloring, so try to pick one that
reflects your face color, when you blush normally. Depending on your skin tone,
you might need a lighter or a darker color. Dark skin, sometimes acquires a bit
lighter color, whereas light skin, in some cases, may need a bit of more
natural shades, such as brown or even tan (my warm recommendation is to try Oriflame’s “Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls”,
which comes in two shades: Sun-Kisses, Bronzed Look and a Rosy Blushed Effect
(both comes in, a bit lighter and darker versions);
ü You
Should Purchase Some Top Quality Blush Brushes;
A
brush, which is especially intend for applying a blush, would present just the
perfect choice, but remember this- you should never use a small, cheap brush
(although, you may use this cheap blush brush, if you think that you can
reconcile with the pretty cheap looking results). My recommendation here would
be to opt for Oriflame’s “Giordani Gold
Powder Brush”, which is a puffy, highly
elegant and retractable gold
colored powder brush. Its 2.3 cm in diameter allows the best coverage of your
cheeks. In order to create the perfect “atmosphere” for applying the blush, you
should find the suitable and proper lighted place. Not to mention (I think
that’s understandable, but still…) that you ought to prepare prior your face by
washing it, brushing your teeth, and putting on any foundation, cover-up or
whatever that you regularly use, right before you are intending to apply you
blush;
ü Then,
You Should Apply Your Blush;
You
should apply the blush to the very center of the both sides of your apples (of
course, first on one side and then the other) of face, blending the color along
your cheekbone. If you opted for the gel or cream blush, you should dot the
color first, then with the assistance of your finger (or a makeup sponge, but
better solution here would be to use your pointer finger)) to mix it in. For
achieving the best possible natural result, you should always dust off the
excess from your brush (in case you use a powder/pearl blush), in order to
avoid excessively rosy cheeks. And, in addition you should aim for symmetry of
the blush colors on your both cheeks. In case, you, by any accent overdo with
the application of your blush, you should use a dry paper, which, by tapping on the face, will removed, any
excess of the blush.
